Snap Finger Click’s founders Martijn van der Meulen and Ed Gladwin are shaping the future of social gaming by creating innovative party games that connect people, earning them a well-deserved spot as finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023.

Martijn van der Meulen and Ed Gladwin started Snap Finger Click in 2015 with a mission to create social games that bring people together. Based in Brighton, UK, Snap Finger Click is an independent video game developer that specialises in building party games for PC and game consoles.

Over the last seven years, Snap Finger Click has developed and published seven hit games, including their recent collaboration with Ubisoft on Trivial Pursuit Live! 2. Their philosophy is that games should be for everyone, and they are pioneering new ways for players to connect through their products.

A standout achievement is Snap Finger Click’s proprietary Live Show technology. It allows players to broadcast their game live on streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube, reading in viewer comments to allow them to play with or against the host player. There’s no limit to participation, so hundreds of thousands of viewers can join in the fun. During the pandemic, Snap Finger Click’s games proved a lifeline for social connection and have been hugely popular on streaming platforms.

Snap Finger Click has been recognised with numerous industry awards and nominations. They were announced as winners of a Best Places to Work Award in 2021 and have been finalists for Employer of the Year at the Women in IT Awards two years running. Snap Finger Click was also listed in the 2022 META Games Industry Index for innovation, diversity and longevity.

Looking ahead, Snap Finger Click plans to continue developing multiplayer party games. Revenue from current projects will enable them to expand their team and create bigger, more ambitious titles. They recently branched into physical board games after a successful Kickstarter campaign with Awkward: A Controversial Party Game. With this achievement, more physical games could be on the horizon.

Snap Finger Click’s founder Martijn van der Meulen is a finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023, a prestigious event known as “The Grammys of Entrepreneurship”. The awards take place in London on November 20th.
