Talia Lazarus’s remarkable journey from tragedy to triumph led her to found “I Got Back Up,” an organization sharing stories of resilience, proving that with determination, the human spirit can overcome life’s greatest challenges.
Talia Lazarus is the inspiring founder of I Got Back Up, an organisation dedicated to sharing stories of perseverance in the face of life’s greatest challenges. In 2021, Talia was involved in a road accident that left her unable to walk. After two knee surgeries and months of rehabilitation, Talia began speaking with others who had overcome immense adversity. She realised the power in sharing these stories and giving hope to those still struggling. Thus, I Got Back Up was born.
Through her podcast “I Got Back Up,” Talia shares the journeys of people who have faced unimaginable hardships yet found the strength and courage to persevere. Her own story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Just over a year after being told she might never walk again, Talia completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon in an impressive 2 hours and 4 minutes. This achievement reinforced her belief that anything is possible with determination and grit.
Looking to the future, Talia aims to expand I Got Back Up by sharing more stories of hope from around the world. She is building her brand as a motivational speaker, increasing awareness of her organisation, and creating more content to reach and inspire people in need.
Talia Lazarus is a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023, a prestigious competition honouring the UK’s most innovative entrepreneurs.
