The Great British Entrepreneur Awards is thrilled to unveil the shortlist for the highly anticipated Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year category.

This prestigious award recognises individuals who have dedicated their efforts to guide their businesses through the critical early stages. Within the last five years, these exceptional entrepreneurs have identified and seized market opportunities while laying a strong foundation for their organizations to thrive.

Sponsored by IONOS, the leading European digitalisation partner for small and medium-sized businesses, this category celebrates the remarkable achievements of start-up entrepreneurs who have leveraged their vision and expertise to make a mark in the digital space.

Entrepreneurs from across the nation have been acknowledged, with shortlists curated for nine nations and regions: London, East of England, Midlands, North East England, North West England, South East England, South West England, Wales and Scotland and Northern Ireland. Each shortlist showcases the impressive achievements of start-up entrepreneurs who have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and strategic acumen in establishing and growing their businesses.

A representative at IONOS, Phillip Maasberg, Startup Program Lead, had this to say about our partnership: “I am proud to serve the jury recognizing visionary founders driving impactful change.”

The shortlisted entrepreneurs in the Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year category have exhibited exceptional drive and determination. They have successfully navigated the challenges of the early stages of business development, seizing opportunities and creating a solid foundation for their organizations to flourish. These entrepreneurs are the true embodiment of innovation, resourcefulness, and adaptability.

The finalists will have the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial journeys to a distinguished panel of judges, consisting of industry experts, successful entrepreneurs, and influential figures deeply immersed in the start-up ecosystem. The judges will evaluate the finalists’ vision, market disruption, scalability, and the potential for long-term success.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023 promises to be an unforgettable celebration of entrepreneurial excellence, resilience, and the transformative power of start-ups. The winners will be announced during the grand ceremony on the 20th November 2023, where the nation’s most inspiring start-up entrepreneurs will gather to honour their achievements.
