Pri Bakes, the brainchild of entrepreneur Priyanka Savjani, is stirring up the bakery industry by offering healthier, plant-based treats.

Priyanka Savjani is the founder of Pri Bakes, an innovative bakery brand on a mission to make indulgence healthier. Launched in 2020, Pri Bakes creates delicious plant-based treats using only 5 natural ingredients, all of which are vegan and free from nasties.

Pri was inspired to start the business following her own diagnosis of IBS and the struggle to find sweet treats that aligned with her dietary requirements.

Her desire to create natural baked goods led her to develop a range of oat-based delights from her parents’ kitchen, which quickly grew beyond the home unit.

Now stocked in over 1500 retailers across the UK, as well as exporting to 5 international markets, Pri Bakes is disrupting the bakery sector by proving that healthier can be tasty too.

Some of Pri Bakes’ biggest achievements to date include listings with major high street names like Boots, WHSmith, Booths and TK Maxx, as well as building a loyal customer base who champion their mission.

Looking to the future, Pri has ambitious plans to build Pri Bakes into a nationally recognised brand, leading the way for non-HFSS impulse products and helping tackle obesity in the UK with their ‘better for you’ alternatives.

Priyanka Savjani was recognised as a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023 for her work building Pri Bakes into a pioneering business making positive change. Known as “The Grammys of Entrepreneurship”, the awards ceremony will be held at London’s Grosvenor House on November 20th.
