Join Gary Partington and his team, the driving force behind Apadmi, an award-winning app development empire and finalist at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023, as he charts the journey from mobile tech pioneers to industry trailblazers.

In 1999, Howard Simms, Nick Black, Adam Fleming, and Gary Partington had a vision for the future of mobile technology. As pioneers developing apps for the first-ever smartphone, the Ericsson R380, they knew mobile solutions would transform businesses. In 2009, they founded Apadmi to help companies unlock the power of mobile.

Apadmi has since blossomed into an award-winning digital product organization. Headquartered in Manchester, UK, with offices in Edinburgh, Lisbon, and Amsterdam, Apadmi builds mobile apps and integrated solutions for major brands like Domino’s, Chelsea FC, the NHS, and the Co-op.

Apadmi’s success stems from its team of restless, results-driven innovators. As CEO Gary Partington says, “Apadmi is its people.” Their passion for solving complex problems and creating groundbreaking experiences has fueled phenomenal growth. In the past three years, Apadmi has doubled in size. Partington aims to reach 1,500 employees across five markets in five years—an “audacious goal” inspired by business guru Jim Collins.

Big goals have yielded big wins. This January, Apadmi recorded its best month ever, with year-over-year revenue up 68 percent. The Sunday Times also named Apadmi one of the UK’s Best Places to Work, with over 90 percent of employees reporting high satisfaction and low turnover.

Gary Partington has been selected as finalist for the 2023 Great British Entrepreneur Awards, the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship.”  On November 20th, Simms, Black, Fleming, and Partington will join other visionaries at London’s Grosvenor House to celebrate British business excellence.
