Meet Manon Williams and Louise White, the compassionate duo behind Enfys Funerals, reshaping the funeral industry by offering personalized and ethical funeral services that celebrate life and honor cherished memories.

Manon Williams and Louise White are the pioneering co-founders of Angladdau Enfys Funerals Ltd, an ethical and independent funeral directors based in Bangor, North Wales. Launched in 2022, Enfys Funerals is innovating the industry by providing bespoke and meaningful funeral services that celebrate life.

Williams and White became fast friends while working together for several years. They bonded over a shared vision to support bereaved families during their time of grief by arranging personalised funerals that honoured the deceased’s values and personality. This aspiration led them to establish Enfys Funerals, which offers a variety of funeral options from traditional to green burials to meet each family’s unique needs.

In just 18 months, Enfys Funerals has supported countless families in North Wales. Their empathetic and compassionate approach has not gone unnoticed, earning them finalist nominations for multiple business awards as well as the prestigious Barriers Busted award from Enterprise Hub. They have also received accreditation from industry leaders like the National Association of Funeral Directors and the Association of Green Funeral Directors.

Looking ahead, Williams and White plan to continue innovating to better serve their community. Their goals include adding an electric hearse to their fleet, supporting the development of a new natural burial ground, and launching bereavement support groups.

As finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023, known as “The Grammys of Entrepreneurship,” Williams and White are being recognised for their trailblazing work in the funeral industry.
