Professor Graham Shapiro has been leading Graham Shapiro Design as its Founder and Creative Director for nearly 30 years. What began as a sole creative consultancy in 1995 has evolved into an award-winning strategic branding and digital design agency working with some of the world’s most prestigious brands.
Graham’s passion for design was the catalyst for launching his business. When the opportunity arose in 1995 to pitch for Samsung’s European product brochures, Graham seized it. Winning the £250,000 contract gave Graham the platform to build his company into the renowned design house it is today. According to Graham, “Success in the creative sector is not solely about achievements. It is about embracing a mindset of continuous improvement, staying curious, and adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the industry.”
Under Graham’s leadership, Graham Shapiro Design has achieved tremendous success and built lasting relationships with clients. However, Graham remains focused on the future and embracing emerging technologies to continue innovating. His vision is to expand into new markets, strengthen existing client partnerships, and support sustainability, social responsibility and initiatives focused on mental health, wellbeing, innovation, and young entrepreneurship.
